Rez and Tell

I know next to nothing about boating, and even LESS about sailboats.  So hopefully this makes sense.  I asked for prompts on my plurk and facebook, and I got the color green from Cole Eyre, and the location of ‘on a “Knock-a-bout” sailboat on the Peconic Bay off the Long Island Sound, on a clear night with only a slight breeze’ from his SL partner and RL girlfriend, Sierra Sugar.   I paused and I thought, “Aren’t Sierra’s eyes green… and doesn’t Cole sail that bay?”  Mmmhmmm.  So I get to be a third wheel as they dictated this post.  Maybe they should just adopt me!  Hope you like guys.

I wish. Well no, maybe I don’t wish. I am a True Blood junkie, especially with Season 3 airing, I just cannot wait for more!! In honor of the last, fantastic, episode; I have put together a very Sookie-esque outfit here.

I even went and checked out the True Blood role playing sim, Hypnotic.  It has a great build and vibe, very fun.  It also has events at your favorite bars, from Merlottes and Fangtasia to Hair of the Dog (I imagine that one will be coming to the show soon enough…) Plus you can even buy some of the buildings (ever dreamed of living in Vampire Bill’s house?)  Hit the jump to check out the outfit better and then head over to Merlottes! Inspired by Paper Dollz that is!  In my latest paw through the fashionfeedofsl website I came across a new blog, Paper Dollz.  Over at Paper Dollz they recreate looks, using inventory they already have mostly, inspired by looks from Polyvore.com.  Great idea right?  I couldn’t help myself, I wanted to give it a shot.

So, that’s the look I was inspired by.  Nice and beachy right?  Ya know, this Polyvore thing is cool, maybe I’ll have to try doing some looks on it.  For now though, follow the jump to check out my take. Jump Jump

Don’t you just hate when you’re in a funk?  When it seems like you can’t even think clearly much less have creative and cool ideas.  Yeah, me too.  So this time I reached out to my buds on social networking to give me something to blog about.  I went to Plurk and asked the people there to give me a clothing idea, then I went to Facebook and asked them to give me a color idea.  The fabulous Dinalya Dawes assigned me a beach party look, and I quote “the outfit you wear to a late night beach party, cuz you aren’t gonna swim.”  Got it, now the color, Jimbo The Cart-Boy(insert sticking tongue out smiley here.) picked electric blue, which he clarified to be the color of the Carolina Panthers.  Oh man, this is going to be a cake walk!

After a long day of surfing in SL and storms in RL I spent last night hanging out at Surf Fest on Avoca Resort.  It’s been a while since I’ve done a proper post so I figured I would do a look of the day, particularly since this look originated with the top, which I discovered while cleaning inventory.

Surf Fest is great, there was tons to do and has been all week.  Events, concerts, competitions, it’s been jam-packed with goodies.  Plus there’s always the exhibits to check out all the latest gear, locations, clothes, etc.  Also available are free rides and games, perfect for killing time on a summer’s night!
